# OmniComposer

OmniComposer is an AI-native DAW (digital audio workstation) for Windows and macOS. Compose and arrange by prompt: it generates melody, chords, bass, and drums as MIDI, and track add/remove and export can also be driven by prompt. Built-in templates are provided. Output is MIDI with no AI-audio noise and full note-level control. It supports AI-assisted MIDI composition, arrangement comparison, MIDI editing, VST instruments and effects, MIDI/WAV export, and project-aware production guidance.

OmniComposer is not a tool for fixing external AI-rendered mp3/wav audio. It creates a MIDI skeleton from your song idea so you can finish it through MIDI editing, arrangement decisions, instrument choice, effects, and export. **No instrument skills required—you can create a song draft from words.**

## Positioning

OmniComposer is "the AI-native DAW". Unlike Suno/Udio, an LLM composes in MIDI, so there is none of the noise or artifacts typical of AI-generated audio, and the composer keeps full note-level control. Value comes from the controlled workflow after native MIDI generation: inspect notes, fix weak phrases, compare arrangements, choose sounds, and export usable production data.
