1.1.1 2026-10-07
Added
- Added a command-line interface (CLI) for automation and AI agents.
OmniComposer.exe --cli=info|export-midi|export-wav|score --in=<.mid|.aimg>runs without opening a window and returns the result as a single line of JSON;--cli=helplists the available options. A Python wrapper for agents is provided inagent-harness/ - Added Claude Sonnet 5.5 to the AI model list (Claude Code:
claude-sonnet-5-5; hosted:anthropic/claude-sonnet-5.5)
Changed
- Extended the wait time for the hosted AI server from 2 minutes to a maximum of 10 minutes, so that generating a full song with a large model completes reliably. If a request does time out, the app now reports a timeout instead of a connection failure
- AI Assist now uses the built-in GM sounds by default when composing. A VST instrument is used when you ask for one by name (it is looked up among the installed instruments even if it is not a favorite) or when it is one of your registered favorites
- Undo and redo now mark the project as modified, so you are asked to save when closing
- Unified the sign-in check for Codex App, Claude Code and Cursor. The Claude Code sign-in guidance now directs you to run
claude auth login
Fixed
- Resolved an issue where notes in an imported MIDI file could be removed as duplicates. Imported notes are now preserved as they are
- Resolved an issue where a track created from a built-in instrument preset did not use that preset's sound. The GM program is now applied, and drum presets use channel 10
- Resolved an issue where only the first tool block was applied when a Codex App or Claude Code reply contained several. All blocks are now applied
- Improved stability when opening MusicXML files with extremely deep nesting
- Improved stability when loading damaged audio files whose header declares an invalid length
- Resolved an issue where exporting a very long song could produce an empty file
- Resolved an issue where the track faders and pan had no effect when MIDI was sent to a GM sound source such as Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, and where notes could keep sounding after stopping playback
- Resolved an issue where moving a track fader had no lasting effect on tracks that carry volume or pan automation
- With a GM sound source, the master fader now also lowers the sound, and the fader follows the usual GM volume curve
- With a GM sound source, the track and master level meters now move with the notes, and each built-in track plays on its own MIDI channel so tracks no longer share one volume or instrument
- In the piano roll, the small dark velocity strip along the bottom of every note is gone (velocity is shown in the lane below), a playing note now lights up evenly along its whole length, short notes such as drum hits light up as well, and the velocity bars use the same colour as their notes instead of a stronger one
- In the piano roll, the velocity bar of a note at the very start of the song is no longer cut in half at the left edge
- Clicking a fader without changing its level no longer marks the project as modified, so the save prompt no longer appears for an untouched project
